Antalya: 'Herakles' whole
Reuniting, it feels so good: “Weary Herakles’’ has been a symbol of the art works stolen from Turkey and sold to U.S. museums. The top half of “Herakles’’ has been at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts since 1982. Now, after years of talks and debate, the MFA has agreed to send it back, implicitly admitting that it never should have let Herakles the Upper join the collection in the first place.
