Shabazz Up


The release of Black Up, the debut full-length by Shabazz Palaces, has been the talk of the music world for months. The Seattle duo’s blend of hip-hop, jazz and a wholly original lyrical vision was much anticipated. For Eric Grandy at Pitchfork and Jeff Weiss at the L.A. Times, it was worth the wait.
